<p>I don&#8217;t see this technology being much help in your everyday desktop.  However, in a laptop/netbook hybrid&#8230; The Hybrid P45-ION-T2A2 motherboard can actually house a complete Atom / Ion-based system on one side, while handling a traditional Socket 775 CPU system on the other.  So with this you can run a power-hungry game machine or an energy sipping net-top.   With a price tag at $399, I doubt this will be on high-demand.</p>
